In a week or two , we Indians get the opportunity to exercise our franchise.Politics is dirty and corrupt in India. Citizens have zero faith in the two major parties.

Will India ever shine in glory ?

I don't think poverty is India's biggest problem anymore .. CORRUPTION is the greatest enemy hindering our nation's progress.

Will Mallika Sarabhai be able to give a fight and come out victorious against the projected PM of the saffron brigade?

There is talk about choosing the 'lesser evil'. I think it is utter crap.Evil cannot be less or more , it is evil and it grows to be more evil.I think the only way government's dirty politics can be kept under check is by people coming on the streets and protesting against the wrong doings.Perhaps we need social reformers and activists who can be the Gandhis and Tilaks of the modern era.I feel all of us should shoulder the responsibility.

Akki's Lesson in loyalty

Hi,

There is a lot of controversy generated due to the unbuttoning of Akshaye Kumar's jeans by his wife Twinkle Khanna ... I think its all unnecessary.... it was a cool thing to do .... Akshaye had to do some posing with another model but he preferred to be unbuttoned by his beloved , which was cool and loyal , even for a casanova like Akki.... Marriage and commitment are considered 'uncool' these days ... this was a great way to glamorize it all .. what say? the so-called purists should laud this.
I wonder if Madhur Bhandarkar will use this incident in his next movie.

Election fever on !

Election fever is on ! Actually, one cant help feeling that all this circus of electoral politics is a big bad joke, which is surely entertaining but its outcome is always disappointing.There are many campaigns these days that are urging people , especially the youth , to go out there and vote.If the youth ( and the young at heart ) take this seriously , it will be the first step of India's awakening.Atleast, we wont feel helpless and hopeless about the future of our democracy.Youth can responsibly vote this time and try to track the progress of the new government.The ultimate step should be to form a party comprising truly dedicated members.Many times I feel there can be no utopia but small steps to make the world a better place should be taken.

 

I wish  there were no reservations !

 

I further wish there was no mention of religion / caste in any offiicial doceuments of a person. Religion/caste should be the person's own business not to be bothered about by the authorities
